North Kingstown High School

The Music Department is an award-winning program as well as an integral part of North Kingstown High School and our surrounding community. We believe that music education is an essential part of a well-rounded education. We welcome and encourage all levels of participation in our programs and want students to know the door is always open.

The Choral and Orchestral programs are directed by Mrs. Norma Caiazza. Students are offered two levels of choral performance (Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir) as well as the opportunity to audition for the school musical. There are two orchestras (String Ensemble, Orchestra) that are comprised of 60+ students from grades 9-12. 
Under the direction of Toni-Annette Silveira, our North Music Band program includes exciting educational and extra-curricular opportunities for students in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, brass and woodwind ensembles as well blues and rock bands. We also encourage students to start their own small combos and vocal groups as an after school ensemble.
