The U.S. Department of Education has named Fishing Cove Elementary School as a National Blue Ribbon School, honoring the school’s’ significant academic achievements. In 2017,Fishing Cove was recognized as Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School. Exemplary Achievement Gap-Closing Schools are the highest performing schools within their state in closing achievement gaps between a school’s student groups and all students.

The National Blue Ribbon School award affirms and validates the hard work of students, educators, families, and our community in reaching for and attaining exemplary achievement.
